PROJECT VEMTESTU

Project title: Project Vemtestu

 

Objective: Development of High-Efficiency, Electric-Traction, Vehicular, Modular and Self-Supporting Platforms for Urban Services. The main objective of the project is to establish, design and develop a vehicle prototype for urban services provision, which will operate completely electrically in an urban environment.

 

Partners: JOFEMAR, FCC, IVECO, IRIZAR, JEMA, TECNALIA,INSIA, CEIT.

 

Timeframe: 2014 - 2017

 

Funding: Funded by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), as part of the CIEN programme, and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the 2014-2020 Multiregional Operational Programme on Intelligent Growth.

VELEX PROJECT

Project: Exclusive electric vehicle.

 

Objective: Development of all the necessary elements and technologies to manufacture an exclusive vehicle with 100% electric drive to answer market demands regarding sustainable mobility.

 

Development period: July 2012-February 2015

 

Financing: The VELEX project has been financed by CDTI and the Government of Navarra in the R&D financial aid bids (co-financed 50% with FEDER funds through the Programa Operativo FEDER 2007-2013 of Navarra).

LITHIUM PACK

Project title: Energy storage systems based in high-capacity batteries for priority use in electric vehicles.

 

Objective: Development of an energy storage system based in high-capacity lithium ion batteries for use in electric vehicles and design of battery charge system for vehicles.

 

Development period: July 2010-May 2014

 

Partners: JOFEMAR SA, the Centre for Automation and Robotics of CSIC and the Material Sciences Institute of Madrid of CSIC.

 

Financing: Project with reference IPT-370000-2010-0027 is financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness in the Innpacto 2010 bid carried out in cooperation with investigation bodies and led by JOFEMAR.

VEHICLE-POLE-NETWORK INTEGRATION

The project is to prove, through the implementation of a real-size intelligent industrial micronetwork, that micronetworks can become one of the most appropriate solutions for energy generation and management for industrial plants that wish to minimize their environmental impact. In it, the electromobility department has to integrate 6 two-way charge points for electric vehicles and one quick charge pole of up to 50kW, in addition to including 6 electric vehicles with the ability to communicate with the micronetwork. Among the vehicles, we can highlight the electric minibus with autonomy up to 350km.

BATTERY PACKS

Applied in research projects of different nature. We can highlight the use of battery packs for off-grid applications to control and reduce the demand during the peak hours of consumption, increasing it during the off-peak hours.

VEHICLE ELECTRIFICATION

We currently have a fleet of more than 50 authorized vehicles that operate daily with our loading system. Among them we can highlight a municipal police electric service vehicle, which has driven more than 150,000 km in its 6 years of operation, as well as a municipal service vehicle fleet.
